Speech Contest is an annual event held at School #18 in December. Every year students are offered different topics to speak on. 2015 is the year of Literature. No wonder the students have spoken on Joseph’s Addison’s quotation “Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.”
As usual each speaker is given up to 3 minutes. Independent and experienced jury is invited to count the points.
This year the winner was Artemiy Zheltukhin 9B Form. Ilmira Zaripova Form 10E and Julia Abdullina 9B shared the second place. And the third place took Anastasiya Savelyeva 9B.
We hope they encouraged all the listeners to take interest in Reading.
